This one's for the Network While Black woman who wants networking that doesn't feel like networking. And what better way to kick off our very first Network While Black retreat than with a long weekend in Napa? Think good wine, great food, beautiful views, and the kind of conversations that happen naturally when you're having a good time.
You'll settle in at The Meritage Resort and Spa, where the weekend already feels like an escape before we've even left the property. Think wine tasting at a Black-owned winery, a little pampering, afternoons spent relaxing by the pool, and plenty of time to enjoy Napa at your own pace. We'll also have a girls' night slumber party, a chance to dress up for dinner, and a networking event where you can get to know the women you're sharing the weekend with.
And somewhere between the wine, the late-night laughs, and conversations you didn't see coming, you'll have the chance to connect with women you might not have met otherwise. Maybe you'll find your next business bestie, a new travel friend, or someone who just gets where you are in life.

The Experience
You've made it to wine country! Once you've checked into The Meritage Resort and Spa, take some time to settle in, unwind after your travels, or explore everything the resort has to offer. Later in the evening, we'll come together for welcome cocktails, a chance to meet the ladies and toast to the start of our very first Network While Black retreat! Afterward, the evening is yours to enjoy dinner at one of the resort's restaurants or relax however you please.

Fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Plan to arrive between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Day 1 so transfer timing lines up for the group. A private transfer will take you directly to The Meritage Resort and Spa.

Early July in Napa Valley brings warm, sunny days, typically in the 80s°F, with cooler evenings in the 50s°F. Pack your summer outfits, sunglasses, and a light jacket for the evenings.
