Nairobi (NBO)
Fly into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) and arrive by 3pm on Day 1. A private transfer will take you directly to your hotel in Nairobi.
Zanzibar (ZNZ)
Fly out of Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ). Our trip ends in Tanzania. Fly home from Zanzibar, or extend your stay and enjoy a few more days exploring.
Visas
For Kenya, a Kenyan eTA is required. Apply at least 4 weeks in advance at etakenya.go.ke. US citizens can apply for the Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization online. For Zanzibar, US travelers can obtain a visa on arrival. We recommend having USD cash ready.
Weather
September falls in the dry season for both Kenya and Zanzibar, with warm days, cool evenings, and minimal rain. Ideal safari and beach weather.
Passport Requirements
Must have at least two blank pages and be valid well beyond your departure date from Africa.
Yellow Fever
A Yellow Fever vaccination is required for entry. Travelers should consult their doctor about malaria prevention medication as well.
