Join Us for Ty's Garden's First Retreat — A Cabin Escape in McHenry, MD

Welcome to McHenry, Maryland, tucked along the shores of Deep Creek Lake, where crisp mountain air and cozy cabin living set the stage for a weekend built entirely around rest, laughter, and connection. Just a short drive from the DMV, this getaway brings the Ty's Garden community together without ever needing to catch a flight.

Designed as Ty's Garden's very first retreat, this experience is centered on wellness and togetherness. Guests will move through the weekend with intention — grounding Pilates sessions led by Tyra, a laid-back paint and sip afternoon, popcorn and movies by the fire, and plenty of unstructured time to game, relax, and reconnect in the cabin's many gathering spaces.

The cabin itself is part of the experience: a game room, indoor heated pool, movie lounge, poker table, pinball machine, shuffleboard, and a fire pit lounge — plus direct access to the ski slopes for anyone who wants to get out on the mountain.

This isn't just a weekend away — it's the start of a Ty's Garden tradition.

Arrival & Popcorn Night

Day 1: Arrival & Popcorn Night

Guests arrive throughout the afternoon and settle into the cabin, taking in the mountain views and getting familiar with all the spaces the property has to offer — the game room, pool, and fire pit lounge among them. The evening keeps things simple and warm: a cozy dinner followed by a popcorn bar, movies, and relaxed conversation in the movie lounge.

Move, Create & Unwind

Day 2: Move, Create & Unwind

The day begins with brunch, followed by a morning Pilates session with Tyra to ground the group and set an intentional tone for the day. In the afternoon, guests come together for a paint and sip session — a relaxed, creative way to connect over conversation and canvas. Dinner follows in the evening, and the night is left open for the group to enjoy the cabin's lounge spaces. Game Night Tournament — poker, pinball, and shuffleboard bracket-style, with a small prize for the winner or Fireside Night — s'mores, music, and storytelling around the fire pit lounge

Rise, Restore & Depart

Day 3: Rise, Restore & Depart

Guests gather for a final brunch before closing out the weekend with one more Pilates session with Tyra — a gentle, grounding way to send everyone home feeling restored. Check-out and departure follow midday, wrapping up Ty's Garden's first retreat.
