Welcome to Mexico City Book Babes! Welcome to Mexico City! Upon arrival at the airport, your private driver will be waiting to greet you and transfer you to the sleek, design-forward Volga Hotel, your stylish home in Colonia Cuauhtémoc. Take time to check in, rest, and refresh after your journey. You might choose to unwind in your room, enjoy the hotel’s amenities, or take a short stroll through the neighborhood to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of CDMX.

Day 2: Books, Art & Night Food Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your journey at the awe-inspiring Biblioteca Vasconcelos, a mega library that feels like a cathedral of books. Then, step into the Museo Nacional de Antropología, one of the world’s most renowned museums, before visiting a nearby gallery for a touch of contemporary art. After some downtime back at Volga, the evening brings you straight into the city’s culinary heart with the Eat Like a Local Night Food Tour, a women-owned experience that takes you through bustling mercados, taco stands, and dessert spots. This immersive night is both dinner and adventure wrapped in one.

Day 3: Floating Canal & Frida Kahlo Museum

After breakfast on this morning, board your private trajinera boat in Xochimilco and float through colorful canals with mariachi, snacks, and laughter. Later, head to Coyoacán to tour the iconic Frida Kahlo Museum (Casa Azul) and wander its artsy neighborhood. After some rest at your hotel, the evening takes you ringside at a Lucha Libre match—an electrifying night of masked wrestlers, roaring fans, and pure Mexican spectacle. Savor mouthwatering tacos in a taqueria as well as beer and mezcal during the show.

Hot Air Balloon & Pyramids

Day 4: Hot Air Balloon & Pyramids

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then head out for a Hot Air Balloon Ride over the ancient Pyramids of Teotihuacan. Watch the sunrise paint the valley as you toast with champagne mid-air. After landing, explore the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon with a guide before heading back to the city. Return to the city for an afternoon of rest and relaxation.

Free Day, Salsa & Rooftop Farewell

Day 5: Free Day, Salsa & Rooftop Farewell

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Sleep in, shop the boutiques of Roma-Condesa, wander Polanco’s luxury avenues, or dive into a museum or gallery. If you’d like something extra such as a spa treatment, a cooking class, a day trip to Grutas de Tolantongo or even a private excursion simply reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to help arrange it at an additional cost. In the late afternoon, regroup for a fun salsa dance lesson, where you’ll learn the basics and share plenty of laughs. As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a spectacular farewell dinner at Ling Ling Rooftop or similar, with panoramic views, and an atmosphere perfect for celebrating your last night in CDMX.

As our time together comes to an end, we want you to know that you'll be greatly missed! Start out your day with breakfast at the hotel before you head out. Checkout is at 12PM so please be packed and ready to leave the hotel. Your car ride will be waiting for you at the hotel, ensuring a smooth departure.
